Thanksgiving Shootout 2012

The Stealth are set to do battle in the USSSA Thanksgiving Shootout over the next few days.  Ten teams will compete all vying for the same coveted title! The format has changed this weekend; two pools of five teams will allow just two from each pool to enter bracket play.  This puts a premium on every game and I for one LOVE it.  Pool A consists of the west side teams while Pool B is filled with the East.  In Pool A you have the Stealth, Aces, Warriors, Desert Cats and the LP Tigers.  Pool B has the Dirtbags, AZ Extreme, BBC Reds, Big Chuy, and the AZ Grinders Blue.

Play begins on Friday at Victory Lane for Pool A and Big League Dreams for Pool B.  The Stealth will get things started with two games on Friday.  The first is against the Warriors baseball Academy at 3:45.  The second will be a 6:00 start against the LP Tigers. On Saturday pool play continues with games against the Aces at 1:30 and the Desert Cats at 6:00.
