Coaches Corner


The Stetson Hills Stealth is comprised of boys ages 9-10 that have made the commitment to play competitive youth baseball. The Stealth are comprised of kids from all over the West Valley. The team was formed in June of 2008 by Club Founder Kurt Vesecky.  The goal of the Stealth is to become a training ground for kids to not only become better baseball players but better in every aspect of life. The training regimen is extreme for kids this age, the Stealth practice a minimum of 2 times a week and play in 2-3 tournaments a month.



Kurt Vesecky (Manager)
The Manager of the Stealth is club founder Kurt Vesecky.  Kurt is a local businessman that has a true passion for youth baseball.  Kurt played up through the high School level and has spent countless hours attending clinics as well as continuing to play the game himself.  He brings a tremendous overall knowledge of the game and stresses the importance of fundamentals. 



Brian Gorman (Assistant Coach)
Brian Gorman joined the Stealth coaching staff in January 2009. Coach Brian epitomizes the proverbial dedicated Dad helper turned coach. As a player Brian played competitive baseball up through high school. As a coach Brian concentrates on core fundamentals, mental focus and disciplined preparation. "I've been very fortunate to have played for great coaches and learn from the fantastic coaching my son has received as a young baseball player." His passion for the game and desire to create a positive baseball experience for our players make Brian a great addition to the Stealth coaching staff.


Anthony Liberatore (Assistant Coach)
2009-2010 will be Anthony Liberatore's first season as a member of the Stetson Hills Stealth coaching staff. As a baseball fan and student of the game for more than thirty years, he brings an in-depth understanding of the fundamentals and the subtleties of baseball to our coaching staff. His previous years of experience handling the administrative duties of a club baseball team have earned him a reputation for attention to detail and a focus on the facets of youth baseball important to building a successful organization and a positive, fun experience for both the players and their families.





Steve Nelson (Pitching Coach)
Steve Nelson joined the Stealth coaching staff in November of 2009.  Over the last 3 years, he served as an assistant coach for his older son’s club team and has also served as a little league coach.  Steve played competitive baseball for over 20 years.  In addition to playing four years of college baseball, he played in the Mid American Baseball League in Wisconsin and several men’s leagues here in Arizona.  Steve relishes the opportunity to share his baseball knowledge with the kids. His desire is to help each and every member of the team develop to their full potential within a positive environment.
